‘THE HOLY BIBLE’ in two volumes, printed by T. Wright and W. Gill, Oxford, 1772; together with 'The Book of Common Prayer', printed by John Archdeacon, Cambridge, 1778, all three volumes uniformly bound in full floral gilt tooled red leather, with ornate patterned spines, the Bible volumes with half titles and all with gilt fore edges, the front boards of each volume impressed in gilt 'John Brown, Esq. / Mayor 1782', each with Carlton R. Richmond and Perran Wood bookplates (3) 'John Brown' is unidentified, but records show Evesham had a mayor of that name in 1782.
