Contemporary polished calf boards with intricately gilt tooled borders, Scottish Songs handsomely rebacked with gilt titles and decorations, Ancient Songs expertly rebacked with original spine laid down, and with a library label to the head of the spine. Some damp staining to the front board of Ancient Songs, the corners and edges of the boards a little rubbed. Ancient Songs with marbled edges; Scotish Songs all edges gilt. Occasional light spots.
