Comprising 1950 Nineteen Eighty-Four, fourth impression; 1954 Animal Farm - first illustrated edition with illustrations by Joy Batchelor and John Halas; and 1959 The Road to Wigan Pier, first uniform edition in (clipped) wrapper designed by Denis Piper. Publisher's boards in wrappers, the 1984 worn with loss to the spine and joint ends and to the top corner of the front panel, tape repaired to rear panel, lighter chipping and losses to the other two titles, the corners a little bruised, pencil ownership inscription to the Animal Farm, a good collection of early copies. 8vo.
