Contemporary full calf, dried and cracked, the joints rather tender, with loss to the spine ends, the corners rubbed similarly, boards with a few marks and light rubbing. Reynolds Stone designed bookplate of Edward Boswell (1760-1842) to the front pastedown, Wiston Old Rectory label, ownership inscription of Thomas Feaver to the front endpaper. Illustrated with fifteen plates, nine of which folding; the Prospect of Aleppo torn and with loss to the top corner, and another folding plate splitting to the bottom fold.
