An unused early 20th century ledger, produced for George Russell & Co. Ltd, Motherwell. Bound in full morocco, gilt lettered to the spine and front board, blind stamped boards; lightly rubbed on occasion. David Robertson label dated 1919 to the front pastedown. Marbled edges. Some toning and staining to the hinges and gutter throughout; else an attractive unused post-war ledger. 4to. (1) George Russell & Co. were founded in 1865, and the first producers of cranes in Motherwell, Scotland; they closed c.1975.
